Janez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and is an expert in hydraulic/lubrication oil care and lubrication systems. He is the owner of Dimas Pro, a company focused on this area. He is the chairman of the European Asset Management Committee (EAMC) at the European Federation of National Maintenance Societies (EFNMS) and the chairman of the Technical Committee of Maintenance and Asset Management (TC-VZD) at the Slovenian Institute of Standardisation (SIST).

Additionally, he serves as the EFNMS contact person to GFMAM and is a former chairman of the Slovenian Maintenance Society (DVS). With extensive experience in various roles within the physical asset life cycle management in the paper and glass industries, including maintenance, production, energy plant, and technical and site management, he supports organizations in implementing Asset Management and Maintenance within Asset Management, as well as improving associated processes.
